Welcome Home

Harmony Organics was born in April of 2004, after four college friends got together and made a decision to embark on a journey to do the right thing: establish an organic farm and provide eggs and chicken to those looking for the all natural, wholesome, and do right by the earth farming.  Our great grandparents knew what this was, but as industrial farming began to spread, and the family farm began to wane, we, as a society, quickly lost our grasp on the commonsense way to look at the foods we eat and how we treat and care for those that ultimately feed us:

We treat your livestock well and with respect.

We give our hens the best, all natural, certified organic (vegetarian) feed possible.

Supply plenty of clean water and an abundance of space in the barn - without cages - and a warm, healthy environment.

Antibiotic free.  Period.

And when the weather permits - let them roam freely on the farm.

Well, it's been over four years now and have we learned a lot about farming and keeping the business running.

Has it been easy?

Not at all.  Humbling is more like it but we're a stubborn lot and we've made great strides over the years and we're happy to report we're here to stay.

We still live here on the farm.  We don't have others come in to help, save the odd jobs that require a lot of manpower to clean the barn, but other than that this is an old fashioned family operation.  Our eggs are produced, packaged, and shipped from our farm.  You can't get more farm fresh than that.

We hand pick our eggs every day.  Maintain feed.  Check the watering systems, air temperatures, lighting, grit, oyster shells, and bedding day in and day out - 365 days a year.  Our days start at 5AM and end well after dark.  We live here and we take great pride in inspecting our eggs over and over before they get to your table.  After all - you're inviting us to dinner - it's the least we could do to make sure we don't follow industry standards for breakage but surpass them by having two people quality inspect EVERY egg that comes to rest on your dining room table.

We have entertained farmers from around the world here in Morristown Minnesota to open our practises up, to learn more, to teach more, and to provide more to you and to this way of farming.

We believe our birds are our best asset.  We believe that they produce the best eggs on the market.  We hope you agree.  Please let us know what you think!  We look forward to making new friends.
